The name of Payrac derives from the word « peyro » which means stone in the Occitan language
Situated on the outskirts of the natural regional parc of Quercy’s low lying – broad vally plateaus, midway between Sarlat and Rocamadour, the village of Payrac welcomes you with pleasure as is always the case with us. .
From off the campsite you can descend to the village safely thanks to a little public road which runs just past the campsite. Here you can find the traditional businesses to which we are attached. Payrac has at its disposal; a small grocery shop, a tobacco shop, a pharmacy and a bakery, a doctor, a garage and gas-station, a bar.
