Beynac et Cazenac
Beynac-et-Cazenac is also listed among the most beautiful villages in France, and is built on the banks carved out by the Dordogne. The village is situated in black Perigord and is known for its impressive castle and history (Richard the Lionheart). You can stroll along its medieval streets but also admire it from the river Dordogne on a scow.
The village is 50 minutes west of Payrac in Lot.
